What's in the afterlife? The afterlife seems to exist. Scientists have received their first serious confirmation. The memory of the soul is immortal

People may have questions after learning about the out-of-body experiences of temporary death survivors. First of all, did everyone who went through clinical death have the described perceptions or only some of them? Did everyone testify to the continuation of life after the death of the body? These issues concern us all closely. Will I continue to exist after the death of my body, or will my existence end here? We know that such a phenomenon as the continuation of life after the death of the body exists, but does it happen to everyone?

By the 1980s, more than 25,000 cases of returning to life after temporary death had been collected. Kübler-Ross reports that according to her data, only 10 percent of respondents had clear memories of their experiences. Other authors talk about 25, 40 or more percent. Osis and Haraldson sent out a questionnaire to doctors and received many responses. Of the 3,800 patients who died in full consciousness, more than one third, being on the verge of death, saw various incorporeal figures or, having left the body, had certain perceptions. Osis and Haraldson noted that believers had visions more often than nonbelievers. 5-year-old children and 75-year-old old people saw and felt the same thing. The longer they remained outside the body, the brighter and stronger their experiences were.

It turned out that less than half of the people who were on the verge of life and death testified to life after death, while the majority spoke of emptiness, of loss of consciousness.

Does this mean that only some of us, and not all, will find life after death? Objective science cannot yet answer this question. Not everyone talks about being in the afterlife. Many of the respondents did not want to answer, probably fearing mistrust and ridicule. And when we wake up in the morning, can we always remember our dreams? Many perceptions, especially disturbing ones, are not stored in memory.

Christianity answers this question absolutely definitely: the human soul is immortal and will live forever. BUT the quality of this disembodied life will be very different for different people.

Surely each of us, to one degree or another, is afraid of death. How will we die? Will we suffer? Will we feel pain? Is it very strong?

It is probably possible to give a very definite answer to this question. None of those who were “beyond the threshold of death” and, therefore, stepped over the “moment” of dying spoke about pain. There was no pain. There was no physical suffering either. Pain and suffering may have been caused by life, but they only lasted until the critical “moment”; neither during it nor after it there were none. On the contrary, a feeling of calm, peace and even happiness came.

The “moment” of transition itself is imperceptible. Very few people talked about momentary loss of consciousness.

One more thing is curious. Most of those who died did not know for some time that they had died. They continued to live, hear and think as before, but they found themselves in an unusual environment - they hovered under the ceiling, watched their body from the side, and so on. And only gradually did they begin to suspect: “Am I dead?” Before this, they did not perceive the moment of death at all. But this is understandable and absolutely natural. The personality does not stop living; there was no death of the personality. This means that there were no sensations of what did not exist and could not exist.

Here is a short excerpt from one interview. A doctor asks a patient who has returned to life about how he died: “At what point did you lose consciousness?” The patient says with irritation: “I didn’t lose consciousness at all. I saw everything and remember everything.” Continuing, he says: “At first I didn’t understand why they were crowding over my body, it never occurred to me that I was dead... No pain... there’s nothing to be afraid of death.”

There is no disappearance or non-existence, but there is a transition from one state to another, and this transition is painless and in itself imperceptible. The situation changes, the nature of perception changes, and only then does the understanding come: “I am dead.”

It’s nice to know that at a critical moment there will be no pain or any unpleasant sensations, but another question immediately arises: What then? What will happen to me after?

Almost everyone who had the experience of dying talked about peace and quiet. They were surrounded by love and felt safe. Is it possible to hope that this applies to everyone and that nothing bad threatens any of us after the death of the body? Science cannot answer this question; The information she obtained does not speak about the afterlife, but only about its beginning, about the first minutes, and in rare cases, about hours after the transition.

Most descriptions of these first minutes are actually light in nature, but not all. The stories of suicides brought back to life are bleak. In addition, it is a known fact that unpleasant things are often forgotten, and difficult and unwanted experiences are repressed from memory into the subconscious.

Dr. Maurice Rawlings writes about this in his book “Beyond the Threshold of Death” (a description of this case is given in Tim Lagay’s book “Life Beyond the Coffin”). He was concerned that reports by Raymond Moody, Kübler-Ross and others were creating a false impression. Not all perceptions of transition are pleasant. He talked about his patient who, after cardiac arrest, ended up in hell. During resuscitation, he regained consciousness several times, but his heart stopped again. When he found himself in our world and gained the gift of speech, he did not stop seeing hell and, in horror, begged the doctors to speed up his revival. Two days later, the patient had no memories of what happened. He forgot everything, as if he had never been to hell and had never seen any hell.

After the transition, the individual finds himself in new conditions of existence. “In the afterlife,” writes Ritchie, “all the laws of matter are violated. There it is possible to walk through walls, not feel touch, and “instantly” fly. Probably, having crossed the threshold of death, a person enters into some other relationship with time and space. “I could instantly transport myself to any place I wanted.”

No one mentioned the time when the dying were outside the threshold and, probably, did not think that it did not exist at all. Afterwards it turned out that the review of the whole life, long visions, meetings and conversations lasted one or two minutes of earthly time, maybe even less. Freud writes about “time compression” in dreams and gives examples of long and complex dreams that took up less than one minute of earthly time.

The father of the family saw six dead children in the other world, all at the age when they were closest to him. “They don’t have an age there.”

Time and space there are different than on earth. We do not know what they are or whether they exist at all, but, apparently, they are less absolute for an incorporeal being than for us.

The third chapter describes meetings with deceased relatives and acquaintances. The soul that has passed into the afterlife meets and somehow unmistakably recognizes those whom it knew on earth. She meets only those who were close to her, and at that age when the love that bound them was especially strong, as if related things were attracted to each other.

The dying perceived everything that happened in the afterlife as completely real. Everyone was sure that what they experienced and described actually happened. For them it was undeniable, even when their mind refused to admit it: “I don’t understand... Yes, it happened, although it shouldn’t have happened. There’s no way it could exist, but it exists.”

“Yes, I know, many will not believe me, they will say that this could not have happened. But this won’t change anything at all, and let them tell me: “It can’t be, science will prove that it doesn’t exist,” - I know, I’ve been there.”

He left the body and watched the operation on himself. He is fine, he does not need any surgery. He tries to stop the doctor, but nothing worked. “I grabbed his hand and it was gone. I was real, it was he who was unreal... like in a mirror.” He, in his world, feels and understands that he is real, but in reality there is no doctor there.

A female psychiatrist who experienced temporary death said: “People who have had these experiences know that those who have not had them must wait.” While the body and the part of the person that left it existed separately, all external stimuli were perceived by the latter. The body felt nothing, and everything that happened to it was observed and described from the outside. She hovered under the ceiling and observed: “When the current was turned on, I saw my body jump up... I didn’t feel anything, no pain...”

Everything that was stored in memory related to the perceptions and experiences of the exited part, and not the body. The body was motionless and absolutely indifferent, it did not see, did not hear, did not feel until the time when the released part returned to it; after this, the physical eyes began to see again, the ears to hear, and the brain to function. The person became the same as he was before cardiac arrest or the accident.

Exactly the same sequence of events occurs when the “astral body” travels.

The existence of those who passed into another world was a reality, but the situation in which they found themselves, especially during transcendental perceptions, was so unusual that it was almost impossible to describe it. “There is no such thing in life (on earth). There is no such word in our language to describe... This is different... This is not our world...”

There are many stories about how the part of a person who left the body saw itself. They are fragmentary and not very clear. Perhaps someone else's attention was attracted. When we find ourselves in an exotic country for the first time, we look not at ourselves, but at our surroundings.

There is one very curious side to all stories about otherworldly perceptions. Absolutely speaking about the preservation and even exacerbation of physiological functions. Vision and hearing are clearer than before, understanding is so complete that it is impossible to deceive or hide anything. At the same time, there are almost no descriptions of the anatomical substance and form.

One woman, once “over the threshold,” tried to push away the nurse’s hand, which was rubbing her lifeless body. When asked if she saw her own hand, she replied: “Yes, I had something like a hand, but when it became unnecessary, it disappeared.”

But even such a vague message is quite unusual. As a rule, in the reports of people who have had otherworldly experiences, there is no mention of their own appearance and the shape of their organs, as if the latter did not exist at all.

Consequently, the physiological functions known to us are preserved, but exist without a corresponding anatomical substrate.

It is possible to see without physical eyes. A man blind from birth, leaving his body, saw everything that doctors did to his body and subsequently spoke about what was happening in every detail. Dr. Kübler-Ross tells of a blind woman who saw clearly and then described the room in which she “died.” Returning to her body, she became blind again. As you can see, it is possible to perceive both worlds with spiritual vision, but only the material world with bodily vision.

The legless soldier could walk and felt that both his legs were intact.

Contacts with other incorporeal beings occur without the participation of speech organs and physical brain cells that perceive words or thoughts.

Function exists without matter, or, in any case, without the form of matter known to us.

Saint Gregory Palamas wrote: “In mystical contemplation, a person sees not with the intellect or body, but with the spirit; he knows with complete certainty that he supernaturally perceives light that surpasses all other light, but he does not know by what organ he perceives this light.”

In the afterlife, vision and hearing are preserved. But the sense of touch seems to disappear or weaken. Ikskul said: “My body is really a body... I saw clearly... but it became inaccessible to touch.”

“Pushing their hands away, I didn’t feel anything.”

“He simply passed through me...”

“I stood and couldn’t reach the floor: the air was probably too dense there.”

There was no pain in the afterlife. There are almost no references to any bodily sensations, but many felt warmth in the presence of the Light.

After the transition, a change occurs in the emotional sphere of the personality. She loses interest in her body and what happens to it. “I come out, and the body is an empty shell.”

A dying man watches his heart surgery as a “disinterested observer.”

Attempts to revive a dead body “were not interesting to me.” Probably, the past, earthly life is over.

No one regretted the material losses, but love for relatives remained, concern for the children left behind, and sometimes there was a desire to return back, despite the fact that “there” was better than in earthly life.

But no fundamental changes have occurred in the character of the individual; she remains the same as she was. She is in the afterlife and here she sees and realizes a lot of new things for herself, but she will not have any higher knowledge or understanding.

There is some evidence that speaks of such higher knowledge. All of them relate to those cases where resuscitation required a lot of time and the stay “outside the body” was long. Those who returned spoke of an unexpected "enlightenment" when any knowledge and any information was achievable, all knowledge - past, present and future - was timeless and easily accessible. “Knowledge is here, around you, and you can take it.”

This state turned out to be fleeting. Upon returning to the body, the feeling of comprehensive knowledge remained, but its content disappeared without a trace. There was nothing left in my memory.

Of course, in the afterlife, a person has to learn a lot of new things, but at the moment of transition and immediately after it, he remains the same as he was during life on Earth. She sees and understands what is happening the same way as before, sometimes very primitively and naively. She may try to help the orderlies carry the stretcher with her dead body. In her opinion, wearing boots in the operating room is unsterile.

“The assumption that upon leaving the body the soul immediately knows and understands everything is incorrect. I came to this new world the same way I left the old one” (Ikskul).

New knowledge and understanding do not come immediately. During the transition, the personality does not change. Individuality is preserved. We do not have two lives, but one: the afterlife is a natural continuation of our earthly life.

Pantes Kiroson

This is the story of a man whose life was cut short by tragedy. British journalist William T. Stead (1849-1912) collaborated with various newspapers in his time and, in addition, showed an increased interest in parapsychology. He wrote several books on this topic, for example, “From the Old World to the New”; Moreover, he had the gift of a medium. William Stead himself, as a reporter, took part in the maiden voyage of the infamous Titanic in 1912. The ship was heading to the USA, and as a result of this voyage it was supposed to receive the Blue Ribbon of the Atlantic. Due to careless mistakes made during the control of the ship, on the night of April 14-15, a collision occurred with an iceberg in the North Atlantic.

The Titanic, which was called nothing less than unsinkable, split into two parts and sank in a few hours, taking with it 1,517 human lives. Among them was William Stead. Within two days, through the mouth of Mrs. Wriedt, a medium from Detroit, he provided accurate information regarding the disaster. He told in more detail later, controlling the hand of his daughter Estelle Stead, who also had the gift of a medium. Here are excerpts from the detailed account she recorded of the late Stead:

“I want to tell you where a person goes after he dies and finds himself. I was glad that in everything I heard or read about the other world, there was such a significant grain of truth. Since, although in general during my lifetime I was confident in the correctness of these views, doubts did not leave me, despite all the arguments of reason. That is why I was so happy when I realized to what extent everything here corresponds to earthly descriptions.

I was still close to the place of my death and could observe what was happening there. It was in full swing, and people were fighting a desperate battle with the inexorable elements for their lives. Their efforts to stay alive gave me strength. I could help them! In an instant, my state of mind changed, deep helplessness was replaced by determination. My only desire was to help people in need. I believe that I actually saved many.

I will skip the description of these minutes. The end was close. It felt like we were going on a boat trip, with those on board waiting patiently for all the other passengers to board the ship. I mean that we were waiting for the end, when we could say with relief: the saved are saved, the dead are alive!

Suddenly everything around us changed, and it was as if we were actually going on a trip. We, the souls of the drowned, were a strange team, setting off on a journey with an unknown goal. The experiences we experienced in connection with this were so unusual that I will not undertake to describe them. Many of the souls, realizing what had happened to them, plunged into painful thoughts and thought with sadness about their loved ones left on earth, as well as about the future. What awaits us in the coming hours? Will we have to appear before the Teacher? What will be His judgment?

Others were as if stunned and did not react at all to what was happening, as if not realizing or perceiving anything. There was a feeling that they were again experiencing a catastrophe, but now - a catastrophe of spirit and soul. Together we were a truly strange and somewhat sinister team. Human souls in search of a new refuge, a new home.

During the crash, hundreds of dead bodies were left in the icy water in just a few minutes. Many souls rose into the air at the same time. One of the recent cruise ship passengers realized that he had died and was terrified that he could not take his belongings with him. Many in desperation tried to save what was so important to them in earthly life. I think everyone will believe me when I say that the events that unfolded on the sinking ship were by no means the most joyful and pleasant. But they also could not be compared with what was happening at the same time beyond the boundaries of earthly life. The sight of unfortunate souls so abruptly pulled out of earthly life was absolutely depressing. It was as heartbreaking as it was repulsive and disgusting.

So, we waited for everyone who had the chance to go on a journey to the unfamiliar that night to gather. The movement itself was amazing, much more unusual and strange than I expected. The feeling was that we, being on a large platform held by someone’s invisible hand, were flying vertically upward at incredible speed. Despite this, I did not have any feeling of insecurity. There was a feeling that we were moving in a precisely defined direction and along a planned trajectory.

I can’t say with certainty how long the flight was, or how far away we were from the ground. The place we eventually ended up in was fabulously beautiful. It felt as if we had suddenly been transported from a gloomy and foggy area somewhere in England under the luxurious Indian sky. Everything around radiated beauty. Those of us who accumulated knowledge about another world during our earthly life understood that we found ourselves in a place where the souls of suddenly dead people found shelter.

We felt that the very atmosphere of these places had a healing effect. Each new arrival had the feeling that he was filled with some kind of life-giving force, and soon he already felt cheerful and found peace of mind.

So, we arrived, and, as strange as it may sound, each of us was proud of ourselves. Everything around was so bright, alive, so real and physically tangible - in a word, as real as the world we had left behind.

Pre-deceased friends and relatives immediately approached everyone who arrived with heartfelt greetings. After that, we - I'm talking about those who, by the will of fate, went on a journey on that ill-fated ship and whose lives were cut short overnight - parted. Now we were all our own masters again, surrounded by dear friends who had come into this world before.

So, I have already told you about what our extraordinary flight was like and what our arrival into a new life for us turned out to be like. Next I would like to talk about the first impressions and experiences I experienced. Let me first make a reservation that I cannot say exactly at what time relative to the moment of the crash and my death these events took place. Everything seemed to me to be a continuous sequence of events; As for being in the other world, I did not have such a feeling.

Next to me was my good friend and my father. He stayed with me in order to help me get used to the new environment where I was now going to live. Everything that happened was no different from a simple trip to another country, where you are met by a good friend who helps you get used to your new environment. I was surprised to the core when I realized this.

The terrible scenes I witnessed during and after the shipwreck were already in the past. Due to the fact that in such a short time in the other world I experienced such a huge number of impressions, the events of the catastrophe that occurred the previous night were perceived by me as if they had happened 50 years ago. That is why worries and anxious thoughts about loved ones who remained in earthly life did not overshadow the joyful feeling that the beauty of the new world evoked in me.

I'm not saying there weren't unfortunate souls here. There were many of them, but they were unhappy only for the reason that they did not realize the connection between life in the earthly and other worlds, they could not understand anything and tried to resist what was happening. Those of us who knew about a strong connection with the earthly world and our capabilities were filled with a feeling of joy and peace. Our state can be described in these words: give us the opportunity to enjoy at least a little new life and the beauty of the local nature before we report all the news about the house. This is how carefree and serene we felt upon arrival in the new world.

Returning to my first impressions, I want to say one more thing. I am happy to say with good reason that my old sense of humor has not disappeared. I can guess that the following may amuse a lot of skeptics and scoffers, to whom the events I described seem like nonsense. I have nothing against it. I’m even glad that my little book will impress them in at least this way. When their turn comes, they will find themselves in the same position that I will now tell you about. Knowing this allows me, with some irony, to say to such people: “Stay with your opinion, it doesn’t mean anything to me personally.”

In the company of my father and my friend, I set off. One of the observations struck me to the core: as it turned out, I was wearing the same clothes as in the last minutes of my earthly life. I absolutely could not understand how this happened and how I managed to move to another world in the same suit.

My father was wearing the suit that I had seen him in during his lifetime. Everything and everyone around looked completely “normal”, the same as on earth. We walked next to each other, breathed fresh air, talked about mutual friends who were now both in the other world and in the physical world we had abandoned. I had a lot to tell my loved ones, and they, in turn, told me a lot about old friends and the peculiarities of life here.

There was something else that surprised me about the surrounding area: its unusual colors. Let us remember what general impression can be made on a traveler by that special play of colors that is characteristic of the English terrain. We can say that it is dominated by gray-green tones. There was no doubt about this: the landscape contained all the shades of soft blue. Don’t just think that the houses, trees, and people also had this heavenly hue, but still the overall impression was undeniable.

I told my father about this, who, by the way, looked much more cheerful and younger than in the last years of his earthly life. Now we could be mistaken for brothers. So, I mentioned that I see everything around in blue, and my father explained that my perception had not deceived me. The heavenly light here actually has a strong blue glow, making this area especially suitable for souls in need of rest, as the blue waves have miraculous healing effects.

Here some of the readers will probably object, believing that all this is pure fiction. I will answer them: aren’t there places on earth where one stay in them helps to cure certain diseases? Use your reason and common sense, understand, in the end, that the distance between the earthly and other worlds is very small. As a consequence, the relationships that exist in these two worlds should be similar in many ways. How is it possible that an indifferent person after death immediately passes into the state of absolute divine essence? This doesn't happen! Everything is development, ascension and advancement. This applies to both people and worlds. The “next” world is only an addition to the already existing world in which you reside.

The sphere of other life is inhabited by people whose destinies are mixed in the most bizarre way. Here I met people of all social classes, races, skin tones, complexions. Despite the fact that everyone lived together, everyone was busy thinking about themselves. Everyone was focused on their needs and immersed in the world of their interests. What would have had dubious consequences in earthly life was here a necessity from the point of view of both the general and individual good. Without immersion in this kind of special state, it would be impossible to talk about further development and recovery.

Because of this general immersion in one’s own personality, peace and tranquility reigned here, which is especially noteworthy given the eccentricity of the local population described above. Without such concentration on oneself, it would be impossible to enter this state. Everyone was busy with themselves, and the presence of some was hardly realized by others.

This is the reason why I didn’t get to know many of the local residents. Those who greeted me upon my arrival here disappeared, with the exception of my father and friend. But I was not at all upset about this, since I finally got the opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of the local landscape.

We often met and took long walks along the seashore. Nothing here reminded us of earthly resorts with their jazz bands and promenades. Silence, peace and love reigned everywhere. Buildings rose to our right, and the sea splashed quietly to our left. Everything around radiated a soft light and reflected the unusually rich blue of the local atmosphere.

I don't know how long our walks were. We talked with enthusiasm about everything new that had opened up to me in this world: about life and people here; about relatives left at home; about the opportunity to communicate with them and tell them what happened to me during this time. I think we traveled really significant distances during such conversations.

If you imagine a world with an area approximately the size of England, where every conceivable species of animals, buildings, landscapes, not to mention people, is represented, then you will have a vague idea of \u200b\u200bwhat the terrain of another world looks like. This probably sounds implausible, fantastic, but believe me: life in the other world is like a trip to an unfamiliar country, nothing more, except that every moment of being there was unusually interesting and fulfilling for me.”

Next, William Stead describes in detail new places in the afterlife and the events that happened to him. But one should not assume that every deceased person ends up in such a world after death. Even if this happens, this does not mean that the deceased can or will have to remain in such a place for eternity. And after death, the opportunity for further development of the soul never disappears...

The leading designer of the Impulse Design Bureau, Vladimir Efremov, died suddenly. He started coughing, sank onto the sofa and fell silent...
At first the relatives did not understand that something terrible had happened. They thought that he had sat down to rest. Natalya was the first to come out of her stupor. She touched her brother on the shoulder:
- Volodya, what’s wrong with you?
Efremov fell helplessly on his side. Natalya tried to feel her pulse. The heart didn't beat! She began to perform artificial respiration, but her brother was not breathing.
Natalya, a doctor herself, knew that the chances of salvation were decreasing every minute. I tried to “start” my heart by massaging my chest. The eighth minute was ending when her palms felt a weak response push. The heart turned on. Vladimir Grigorievich began to breathe on his own.
- Alive! - his sister hugged him. - We thought you were dead. That's it, it's over!
“There is no end,” Vladimir Grigorievich whispered. - There is life there too. But different. Better…

Vladimir Grigorievich recorded his experience during clinical death in every detail. His testimony is priceless. This is the first scientific study of the afterlife by a scientist who has experienced death himself. Vladimir Grigorievich published his observations in the journal “Scientific and Technical Gazette of the St. Petersburg State Technical University”, and then spoke about them at a scientific congress.

His report on the afterlife became a sensation.

It is impossible to imagine such a thing! - said Professor Anatoly Smirnov, head of the International Club of Scientists.

Vladimir Efremov's reputation in scientific circles is impeccable.

He is a major specialist in the field of artificial intelligence; he worked at the Impulse Design Bureau for a long time. Participated in the launch of Gagarin, contributed to the development of the latest missile systems. His research team received the State Prize four times.

Before his clinical death, he considered himself an absolute atheist, says Vladimir Grigorievich. - I trusted only the facts. He considered all discussions about the afterlife to be religious nonsense. To be honest, I didn’t think about death then. There was so much to do in the service that it would be impossible to sort it out in ten lifetimes. There was no time for further treatment - my heart was naughty, chronic bronchitis was tormenting me, and other ailments were annoying me.

On March 12, at the house of my sister, Natalya Grigorievna, I had a coughing attack. I felt like I was suffocating. My lungs didn’t listen to me, I tried to take a breath - but couldn’t! The body became weak, the heart stopped. The last air left the lungs with wheezing and foam. The thought flashed through my mind that this was the last second of my life.

But for some reason my consciousness did not turn off. Suddenly there was a feeling of extraordinary lightness. Nothing hurt me anymore - neither my throat, nor my heart, nor my stomach. I only felt this comfortable as a child. I did not feel my body and did not see it. But all my feelings and memories were with me. I was flying somewhere along a giant pipe. The sensations of flying turned out to be familiar - something similar had happened before in a dream. Mentally I tried to slow down the flight and change its direction. Happened! There was no horror or fear. Only bliss. I tried to analyze what was happening. The conclusions came instantly. The world you've entered exists. I think, therefore I also exist. And my thinking has the property of causality, since it can change the direction and speed of my flight.

Everything was fresh, bright and interesting,” Vladimir Grigorievich continues his story. - My consciousness worked completely differently than before. It embraced everything at once at the same time; for it there was no time or distance. I admired the world around me. It was as if he had been rolled into a tube. I didn’t see the sun, there was even light everywhere, casting no shadows. Some heterogeneous structures reminiscent of relief are visible on the walls of the pipe. It was impossible to determine where was up and where was down.

I tried to remember the area I was flying over. It looked like some kind of mountains.

I remembered the landscape without any difficulty; the volume of my memory was truly bottomless. I tried to return to the place I had already flown over, imagining it in my mind. Everything worked out! It was like teleportation.

TV

A crazy thought came,” Efremov continues his story. - To what extent can you influence the world around you? And is it possible to return to your past life? I mentally imagined an old broken TV from my apartment. And I saw it from all sides at once. Somehow I knew everything about him. How and where it was constructed. He knew where the ore was mined, from which the metals used in the construction were smelted. Knew which steelmaker did it. I knew that he was married, that he had problems with his mother-in-law. I saw everything connected with this TV globally, being aware of every little detail. And he knew exactly which part was faulty. Then, when I was revived, I changed that T-350 transistor and the TV started working...

There was a feeling of the omnipotence of thought. Our design bureau struggled for two years to solve the most difficult problem related to cruise missiles. And suddenly, imagining this design, I saw the problem in all its versatility. And the solution algorithm arose by itself.

Then I wrote it down and IMPLEMENTED it...

The realization that he was not alone in the next world came to Efremov gradually.

My information interaction with the environment gradually lost its one-sided character,” says Vladimir Grigorievich. - The answer to the formulated question appeared in my mind. At first, such answers were perceived as a natural result of reflection. But the information coming to me began to go beyond the knowledge that I had during my lifetime. The knowledge gained in this tube was many times greater than my previous knowledge!

I realized that I was being guided by Someone who was omnipresent and had no boundaries. And He has unlimited capabilities, is omnipotent and full of love. This invisible, but tangible subject with my whole being did everything so as not to frighten me. I realized that it was He who showed me phenomena and problems in all cause and effect relationships. I didn’t see Him, but I felt Him acutely. And I knew that it was God...

Suddenly I noticed that something was bothering me. I was dragged outside like a carrot from a garden. I didn’t want to go back, everything was fine. Everything flashed and I saw my sister. She was scared, and I was beaming with delight...

Comparison

Efremov in his scientific works described the afterlife using mathematical and physical terms. In this article we decided to try to do without complex concepts and formulas.

Vladimir Grigorievich, what can you compare the world to which you found yourself after death?

Any comparison will be wrong. The processes there do not proceed linearly, like ours, they are not extended over time. They go at the same time and in all directions. Objects “in the next world” are presented in the form of information blocks, the content of which determines their location and properties. Everything and everyone is in a cause-and-effect relationship with each other. Objects and properties are enclosed in a single global information structure, in which everything goes according to the laws set by the leading subject - that is, God. He is subject to the appearance, change or removal of any objects, properties, processes, including the passage of time.

How free is a person, his consciousness, his soul in his actions?

A person, as a source of information, can also influence objects in the sphere accessible to him. By my will, the relief of the “pipe” changed, and earthly objects appeared.

Looks like the films “Solaris” and “The Matrix”...

And to a giant computer game. But both worlds, ours and the afterlife, are real. They constantly interact with each other, although they are isolated from one another, and together with the governing subject - God - they form a global intellectual system.

Our world is simpler to comprehend; it has a rigid framework of constants that ensure the inviolability of the laws of nature; the connecting principle of events is time.

In the afterlife there are either no constants at all, or there are significantly fewer of them than in ours, and they can change. The basis for the construction of that world is made up of information formations containing the entire set of known and still unknown properties of material objects in the complete absence of the objects themselves. Just as it happens on Earth under computer simulation conditions. I understand that a person sees there what he wants to see. Therefore, descriptions of the afterlife by people who have experienced death differ from each other. The righteous sees heaven, the sinner sees hell...

For me, death was an indescribable joy, incomparable to anything on Earth. Even love for a woman is nothing compared to what you experienced there...

Vladimir Grigorievich read the Holy Scriptures after his resurrection. And I found confirmation of my posthumous experience and my thoughts about the informational essence of the world.

The Gospel of John says that “in the beginning was the Word,” Efremov quotes the Bible. - And the Word was with God, and the Word was God. It was with God in the beginning. All things came into being through Him, and without Him nothing came into being that was made.” Is this not a hint that in Scripture the “word” refers to a certain global information essence that includes the comprehensive content of everything?

Efremov put his posthumous experience into practice. He brought the key to many complex problems that have to be solved in earthly life from there.

The thinking of all people has the property of causality, says Vladimir Grigorievich. - But few people realize this. In order not to cause harm to yourself and others, you need to follow religious standards of life. Holy books are dictated by the Creator, this is a technology for the safety of humanity...

Vladimir Efremov: “Death is not scary for me now. I know this is a door to another world."

Thanks to the progress of medicine, resuscitation of the dead has become almost standard procedure in many modern hospitals. Previously, it was almost never used.

In this article we will not cite real cases from the practice of resuscitators and stories of those who themselves experienced clinical death, since a lot of such descriptions can be found in books such as:

  • "Closer to the Light" (
  • Life after life (
  • "Memories of Death" (
  • "Life Near Death" (
  • "Beyond the threshold of death" (

The purpose of this material is to classify what people who visited the afterlife saw and present what they told in an understandable form as evidence of the existence of life after death.

What happens after a person dies

“He’s dying” is often the first thing a person hears at the moment of clinical death. What happens after a person dies? First, the patient feels that he is leaving the body and a second later he looks down at himself floating under the ceiling.

At this moment, a person sees himself from the outside for the first time and experiences a huge shock. In a panic, he tries to attract attention to himself, scream, touch the doctor, move objects, but as a rule, all his attempts are in vain. No one sees or hears him.

After some time, the person realizes that all his senses remain functional, despite the fact that his physical body is dead. Moreover, the patient experiences an indescribable lightness that he has never experienced before. This feeling is so wonderful that the dying person no longer wants to return back to the body.

Some, after the above, return to the body, and this is where their excursion into the afterlife ends; on the contrary, someone manages to get into a certain tunnel, at the end of which light is visible. Having passed through a kind of gate, they see a world of great beauty.

Some are met by family and friends, some meet a bright being from whom great love and understanding emanates. Some are sure that this is Jesus Christ, others claim that this is a guardian angel. But everyone agrees that he is full of kindness and compassion.

Of course, not everyone manages to admire the beauty and enjoy the bliss afterlife. Some people say that they found themselves in dark places and, upon returning, describe the disgusting and cruel creatures they saw.

ordeals

Those who returned from the “other world” often say that at some point they saw their whole life in full view. Their every action, seemingly random phrase, and even thoughts flashed before them as if in reality. At this moment, the man reconsidered his entire life.

At that moment there were no such concepts as social status, hypocrisy, or pride. All the masks of the mortal world were dropped and the person was presented to the court as if naked. He couldn't hide anything. Each of his bad deeds was depicted in great detail and shown how he affected those around him and those who were caused pain and suffering by such behavior.

At this time, all the advantages achieved in life - social and economic status, diplomas, titles, etc. - lose their meaning. The only thing that can be assessed is the moral side of actions. At this moment, a person realizes that nothing is erased or passes without a trace, but everything, even every thought, has consequences.

For evil and cruel people, this will truly be the beginning of unbearable internal torment, so-called, from which it is impossible to escape. The consciousness of the evil done, the crippled souls of oneself and others, becomes for such people like an “unquenchable fire” from which there is no way out. It is this kind of trial of actions that is called ordeal in the Christian religion.

Afterworld

Having crossed the line, a person, despite the fact that all senses remain the same, begins to feel everything around him in a completely new way. It’s as if his sensations are starting to work one hundred percent. The range of feelings and experiences is so wide that those who returned simply cannot explain in words everything that they felt there.

From the more earthly and familiar to us in perception, this is time and distance, which, according to those who have visited the afterlife, flows there completely differently.

People who have experienced clinical death often find it difficult to answer how long their post-mortem state lasted. A few minutes, or a few thousand years, it made no difference to them.

As for the distance, it was completely absent. A person could be transported to any point, to any distance just by thinking about it, that is, by the power of thought!

Another surprising thing is that not all of those reanimated describe places similar to heaven and hell. The descriptions of the places of individual individuals are simply amazing. They are sure that they have been on other planets or in other dimensions and this seems to be true.

Judge for yourself word forms like hilly meadows; bright greenery of a color that does not exist on earth; fields bathed in a wonderful golden light; cities beyond words; animals that you will not find anywhere else - all this does not apply to the descriptions of hell and heaven. People who visited there did not find the right words to clearly convey their impressions.

What does the soul look like?

In what form do the dead appear to others and how do they look in their own eyes? This question interests many, and fortunately, those who have been abroad gave us the answer.

Those who were aware of their exit from the body say that at first it was not easy for them to recognize themselves. First of all, the imprint of age disappears: children see themselves as adults, and old people see themselves as young.

The body is also transformed. If a person had any injuries or injuries during life, then after death they disappear. Amputated limbs appear, hearing and vision return if it was previously absent from the physical body.

Meetings after death

Those who have been on the other side of the “veil” often say that they met there with their deceased relatives, friends and acquaintances. Most often, people see those with whom they were close during life or were related.

Such visions cannot be considered the rule; rather, they are exceptions that do not occur very often. Usually such meetings act as an edification to those who are too early to die and who must return to earth and change their lives.

Sometimes people see what they expected to see. Christians see angels, the Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ, saints. Non-religious people see some temples, figures in white or young men, and sometimes they see nothing, but they feel a “presence”.

Communication of souls

Many reanimated people claim that something or someone communicated with them there. When they are asked to tell what the conversation was about, they find it difficult to answer. This happens due to a language unknown to them, or rather inarticulate speech.

For a long time, doctors could not explain why people did not remember or could not convey what they heard and considered it just hallucinations, but over time, some who returned were still able to explain the mechanism of communication.

It turned out that people communicate there mentally! Therefore, if in that world all thoughts are “audible,” then we need to learn here to control our thoughts so that there we are not ashamed of what we involuntarily thought.

Cross the line

Almost everyone who has experienced afterlife and remembers it, talks about a certain barrier that separates the world of the living and the dead. Having crossed to the other side, a person will never be able to return to life, and every soul knows this, even though no one told her about it.

This limit is different for everyone. Some see a fence or lattice on the border of a field, others see the shore of a lake or sea, and others see it as a gate, a stream or a cloud. The difference in descriptions stems, again, from the subjective perception of each.

Having read all of the above, only an inveterate skeptic and materialist can say that afterlife this is fiction. For a long time, many doctors and scientists denied not only the existence of hell and heaven, but also completely excluded the possibility of the existence of an afterlife.

The testimony of eyewitnesses who experienced this condition themselves drove into a dead end all scientific theories that denied life after death. Of course, today there are a number of scientists who still consider all the testimony of those reanimated to be hallucinations, but no evidence will help such a person until he himself begins the journey to eternity.

The ones that talk about communicating with them are of greatest value. Only thanks to such evidence can we obtain at least some information about the afterlife.

It should be said that the information that ghosts give on this matter is full of vague omissions. The inhabitants of the afterlife avoid direct answers in every possible way and shy away from a meaningful, serious conversation on the topic of afterlife.

The human soul is immortal

At the end of the last century, a certain Nikolai Semenovich Veselov, a young clergyman, died. His friend Archpriest Sokolov, who was in another city at that time, was not aware of this. Suddenly, the man saw an unusually vivid dream: a Kherson cemetery, a monument in which a significant hole was formed from fallen stones...

Feeling curiosity, I climbed into this hole, the archpriest recalls. A light flashed ahead, and, having crossed the passage, I suddenly found myself in a most beautiful garden. Veselov was walking along the alley towards me.

What fate, Nikolai Semenovich? – I exclaimed in surprise.

“I died,” he answered, “and now you see...

At the same time, his face shone, his eyes shone wonderfully. I wanted to kiss him, but he pulled back and pulled me away with his hands.

“I died,” my friend repeated. - Don't come closer.

And he continued on his way again, and I walked next to him, not trying to touch him anymore and hoping that Nikolai would tell me something else. And he actually said:

I'm alive, even though I'm dead. And in general, dead or alive – it’s all the same.

Soon the archpriest learned of Veselov’s death.

What conclusion can be drawn from this dream? Yes, the simplest one. The spirit of the deceased says: “I am alive, although I am dead.” Thus, he confirms the existence of a posthumous reality.

A guide is needed to the afterlife

This “contact story” also happened in the last century. This is what the man who was its main character said...

…One day, when I was sitting in my office and my consciousness was absolutely clear, I noticed some kind of glow in the corner of the room. Soon I discerned in this light the figure of a man, a monk. I admit, I felt very scared, and the figure, approaching, said:

Why are you trembling? Don’t be afraid, I’m your relative – Metropolitan Philaret of Moscow. You are the only one of my relatives left alive, and only you can help me restore my mother’s grave. Now it is completely razed. The slab and the cross from it are kept near the church, next to the cemetery. The tablet with the inscription is also intact. You must contact the rector of the cemetery church and ensure that everything on the grave is restored.

What was happening made me very nervous. My thoughts were confused, I began to ask where exactly in the church the cross and the slab were kept. The Metropolitan pointed out exactly the place where to look for them. When our conversation ended, his figure seemed to disappear into thin air.

The rector of the cemetery church, to whom I turned, was skeptical of my story and flatly refused to do anything to restore the grave. However, after some time, Metropolitan Philaret appeared to me again and insisted that his request be fulfilled. He also said that he would come again and this would happen before my death. From his words I understood that the ruler would become my guide to the afterlife...

After this, with the help of the rector of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, I managed to submit a corresponding note to the patriarch. By order of His Holiness, the grave of Metropolitan Philaret’s mother was completely restored. At the same time, the tombstone and cross were found exactly where the ghost indicated...

...What does this story tell us? The fact that one can get to the afterlife (or is only possible) with the help of a guide. That is why the spirit of the long-dead metropolitan promised his relative to become a guide for his soul on the way to the kingdom of the dead.

First, the soul in the afterlife languishes in “quarantine”

If we analyze many other pieces of evidence, we can conclude that the human soul in the next world first falls into a kind of “quarantine zone.” While in it, she is still “stranger to the angels.”

In this “dressing room” of posthumous existence there is no entertainment of any kind. Spirits communicate with each other on a telepathic level. Longing for earthly life, they want to return to the living even for a moment. But for this, the spirits need to ask permission from a special “guardian”; only he can allow a short absence “to the sinful earth.” However, this is much better than being stuck for some reason between earth and heaven and becoming the ghost of a graveyard, castle or house. The spirit can remain in this state for many years and even centuries...

...So, an afterlife civilization certainly exists, and you can get there with the help of a personal guard-escort. Perhaps everyone has one, or maybe only those who deserve it...

Is there hell in the next world? Most likely, there is no such thing as some religions portray it to us (for example, Christianity). True hell manifests itself differently. Isn’t staying on earth for centuries in a subtle body, without the opportunity to go to heaven, hell? I think there are many such terrible torments. Spirits, as a rule, only hint at them to us, without saying anything specific. It is likely that the sinner experiences hellish torment not in heaven, but on earth - after his rebirth (reincarnation), receiving such a fate that, as they say, you would not wish on your enemy...

That's all, we don't know anything else about the afterlife. In reports about it, only the approaches to its threshold are indicated with a faint dotted line. Of course, there are books whose authors in one way or another describe the other world, in particular Michael Newton’s book “The Purpose of the Soul. Life between lives." The famous regressive hypnotherapist wrote it based on the stories of people whom he put into hypnosis and in this state awakened in them the memory of past lives, including in the next world.

To believe all this or not is a personal matter for everyone. Of course, to paraphrase a well-known saying, we can say this: if we die, we will see. By the way, it is not religious and spiritual people who like to repeat it more, but ardent materialists, as if thus resurrecting in their memory the knowledge of past lives and life in heaven, nevertheless being afraid to admit to themselves that all this is much more real than ours physical world...
