“Of course, I’m shocked, because this boy was an excellent student, he had no conflicts with anyone. His photograph hung on the honor board at school. I was the best in physical education, I was the best in everything, I was going for the gold medal,” said one of the colleagues of the murdered teacher, Ksenia Ivanova.
It is known that Sergei was quite reserved and even on social networks he had only 30 friends. Nevertheless, the boy tried to be the best in everything and even enrolled in the sambo section to develop his physically weak body.
“He is a modest, downtrodden guy. Taciturn, hard of hearing. He had to repeat the task several times. But he didn’t give the impression of some kind of psychopath. Rather, he was just an introverted child, I would even say, with a kind soul,” said Gordeev’s coach.

“The whole world is an illusion, and no one understands me... They don’t accept my views... I’m tired of living, but I didn’t want to commit suicide. I hoped that they would shoot me,” Gordeev said.

During interrogation, the teenager noted that the geography teacher was a very good person, but he was shot because he tried to take away the gun and began to come closer. At the same time, he noted that he did not kill the teacher because of his grades: “I was afraid of death, but I was interested in what it looked like.”
In connection with the armed attack on the school, a criminal case was opened under the articles of the Criminal Code “Hostage-taking”, “Murder” and “Encroachment on the lives of law enforcement officers”.
