Schoolchildren are offered training in specialized classes under the programs: “Design of the architectural environment”, “Ecological activities in the field of tourism”, “Fundamentals of the hotel and restaurant industry according to the Vatel - RMAT program”, “Fundamentals of tourism activities”, “Fundamentals of tourist and excursion activities”. There are three-month preparatory courses. Graduates of the institute receive a standard certificate and preferential right to enter the Academy.

The Russian International Academy of Tourism (RMAT) was founded in 1969, when the Central Tourist Courses of the Central Council for Tourism and Excursions of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions (CSTE All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions) were created.
