Requirements for admission to the National Guard. Service in the National Guard on conscription. How to get a girl into the Russian Guard

It will be possible to get into the system of the new law enforcement agency after a year of service and serious tests

In 2016, military commissariats had to refuse conscription for military service to 40 thousand Russians. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced this on April 1. And it was not a joke: there is now a competition for the army special forces - 20 people per place. And this week everyone learned that the National Guard has appeared in Russia. And calls to the editorial office of Komsomolskaya Pravda rained down: how to get to the National Guard? And how much will they pay there? We asked the head of the press service of the Internal Troops Vasily Panchenkov to answer the readers' questions. He represents the very unit on the basis of which the National Guard will be created.

1. How many guardsmen will there be?

They also call us with such questions. Most often - already existing law enforcement officers from the regions. They are interested in whether they will enter the National Guard.

What do you answer?

The media are now calling different numbers: they say, the National Guard will have 400, 350, 300 thousand employees. I think that we must wait for the adoption of the law on the National Guard, which is now under consideration in the State Duma. It is difficult to say yet what structure of troops will be approved.

What if they decide that, say, 200 thousand is enough?

Then, clearly, no one will recruit more than the current number and, perhaps, one should even expect reductions. Someone may leave due to age, health reasons. We must wait for the decision.

2. Are conscripts or contract soldiers preferred?

Several years ago, in a cordon, I noticed thin little soldiers of the Internal Troops - will they really be recruited into the National Guard?

What is there to do? In the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of contract soldiers for the positions of soldiers and sergeants was established - at least 80%. The rest are conscripts. This mixed system has been maintained until the last days. 20% of the soldiers came to our units from the military registration and enlistment office. They were considered by a separate commission and the brigade commander. After conscript service, the best ones were already selected for contract service. First, contract workers are taken on a trial period, and then a contract is concluded with them.

3. Are the requirements for candidates high?

What are your recruitment requirements?

The candidate must be a citizen of Russia, have a permanent place of residence, serve in the border troops or the Ministry of Internal Affairs, be physically and mentally healthy, preferably under the age of 31. Preference is given to young men from two-parent families who have not been brought to the police, have not used drugs (this is shown by tests), have positive characteristics from school and sports clubs. After the service, they return home, and some come to the commander and ask to stay on the contract. I think such requirements will remain for recruitment to the National Guard.

Is it really possible to recruit a whole brigade like that?

The Sofrinskaya brigade of the Internal Troops is staffed in this way, 80% of its composition is contract soldiers.

It is already clear that the requirements for the guards will be high, but what can they count on?

The married people will receive service housing, the children are enrolled in kindergartens and schools. All this is being clearly carried out.

Rosgvardia is a militarized body of executive power, formed by order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces (Armed Forces) of the Russian Federation. Another name is the National Guard. The structure is based on:

 • internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
 • detachments of SOBR and OMON;
 • private security;
 • TsSN SOR and aviation (center of special forces and operational response).

The CSN SOR includes the legendary units "Lynx" (SOBR), "Zubr" (OMON), "Yastreb" (aviation special forces), stationed in Moscow and the capital region. Those wishing to enlist in the National Guard on conscription must clearly understand the goals and objectives of the unit. The conscript service in the National Guard has significant differences from the fulfillment of military duty in the ranks of the army.

The main tasks of the Russian guards

The troops of the National Guard are directly subordinate to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces personally. The activities of the paramilitary structure are determined by the Federal Law. The purpose is to protect the security of society and the state.

To ensure the goal, the National Guards perform the following tasks:

 • combating terrorist and extremist organizations, participating in counterterrorist operations;
 • protection of OP (public order);
 • protection of state facilities, security facilities and cargo of special importance;
 • participation in hostilities to protect the territory of the Russian Federation;
 • assistance to FSB officers and military personnel of the border troops in protecting the state border of Russia;
 • ensuring the organization of emergency situations and martial law;
 • supervision over the implementation of the laws of the state in the field of arms trafficking, the activities of private security companies (private security companies) and private detectives;
 • ensuring the safety of government officials (by personal order of the President).

Convoy and protection of prisoners and persons under investigation is not included in the tasks of the National Guard. Unlike the active army deployed in four Military Districts, the territorial division of the Rosgvardia is eight districts: North Caucasian, Siberian, Ural, Southern, Eastern, Central, combined North-West and Volga.

Basic requirements for applicants for service in the divisions of the Russian Guard

To serve in the National Guard units on a contract basis, you must meet the age category from 18 to 31 years old. The applicant must have conscript service behind him. Priority is given to candidates who served in the airborne troops, special forces, marines, and border troops.

An additional advantage will be work experience (in a civilian position), or years of service in rank, in law enforcement agencies and security forces. Police officers applying for a place in the ranks of the Rosgvardia are not required to pass qualifying exams.

For other candidates, qualifying events include:

 • examination by a medical commission with the assignment of a category of fitness "A" (sometimes "B" -category is allowed);
 • psychological testing for stress resistance and adequacy;
 • delivery of standards of physical training.

The gender of the applicant does not matter. Female representatives are allowed to serve on an equal basis with men, and in accordance with identical requirements. For the Rosguards from among girls and women, positions are provided in medical, printing, photogrammetric units, in communications units.

And also as lawyers, psychologists, cooks, video surveillance operators, translators. Selection for female positions is accompanied by a medical examination, psychological testing and compliance with physical fitness standards.

The formation of the National Guard troops on a mixed type, where contract soldiers make up 80% of the total personnel, has been legally approved. The remaining 20% are young people doing military service. The term of military service in the ranks of the National Guard corresponds to the duration of service in the Armed Forces, that is, it is one year.

The key requirements for recruited candidates are:

 • legal age;
 • availability of a document confirming the citizenship of the Russian Federation;
 • ideal state of health (compliance with the "A" category of fitness, according to a medical examination at the Military Commissariat).
 • compliance with the standards of physical fitness;
 • psychological stability.

With deviations in physical or mental health, you can forget about serving in the units of the Russian Guard.

Basic standards for the scoring system

In the competitive selection system, preference is given to candidates with higher physical fitness, not least of which is given to the personal qualities of the applicant. A young man must have a high level of:

 • performance;
 • responsibility;
 • self-control;
 • self-discipline.

It is necessary to adhere to the moral values accepted in society. Be restrained, decisive, courageous, attentive. Formulate thoughts clearly.

Procedure for a conscript wishing to serve in the National Guard

In order to become a National Guard, and not undergo military service in the ranks of the army, a young man of military age must:

 • apply with an application to the military commissariat at the place of registration;
 • fill out the questionnaire (questionnaire) form;
 • write an autobiography separately (sheet format A-4);
 • sign a consent to the verification of personal information.

A package of documents is attached to the application, including:

 • passport and a copy of the document;
 • certificate of secondary education, or diploma of a technical school / college / university;
 • registration certificate from the Military Commissariat;
 • work book (if any);
 • TIN and a copy of the document;
 • driver's license (if available).

After submitting the documents, the special services are engaged in identity verification. The procedure can take 1-3 months, so you need to take care of submitting documents well in advance of the start of the draft campaign. With a positive solution to the question, the young man is sent for a medical examination, psychological testing, and passing the standards of physical training.

Possible reasons for refusal:

 • the presence of problems with the law (criminal record);
 • participation in activities aimed against state interests;
 • neuropsychological inconsistency;
 • having dual citizenship.

The reason for refusal is an unconfirmed medical category of fitness or inability to meet the standards of physical fitness.
