The candidate must be a citizen of Russia, have a permanent place of residence, serve in the border troops or the Ministry of Internal Affairs, be physically and mentally healthy, preferably under the age of 31. Preference is given to young men from two-parent families who have not been brought to the police, have not used drugs (this is shown by tests), have positive characteristics from school and sports clubs.
