Regulations

Participants of the Circuit Olympiad, students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, will have to go through two rounds:

  • Qualifying round - from October 16 to October 31, 2017. Participants take the online test at olymp.kontur.ru. Students who manage to give more than 50% correct answers receive an invitation to complete the tasks of the main round of the Olympiad.
  • The main tour is from November 14 to November 22, 2017. Participants solve practical cases online and answer more complex questions. The main task is to give the maximum number of correct answers in the minimum time.

This year, a separate tour is organized for first-year students - the Primary Olympiad, which will be held in the form of an online test from October 2 to 12. Participation in the Primary Olympiad is not mandatory to pass the Main Olympiad, but the competition will allow first-year students to test their basic knowledge in the subject area.

Final results

The first round is completed. 19,517 people from 1,120 educational institutions were tested. More than 83% of participants successfully completed the test tasks and scored 15 or more points. These students receive electronic diplomas of participants and proceed to the second round.

Two tax questions were removed from the competition due to misleading inaccuracies. For this reason, the final result differs from the preliminary one.

If there is a tie in the results table, the participant is higher passed the test faster. In each educational institution from which 15 or more people took part, the best result was determined. Prize-winners - those with the best results - receive a gift from SKB Kontur - electronic gift cards worth 500 rubles. They will be sent on November 1st to the addresses Email participants.

Dates:

The Olympics are held in 2 rounds. Duration of the first round: from October 16 to October 31, 2017. In the first round, you must answer 33 questions of an online test, designed for a wide range of participants and not requiring deep knowledge of the “world of accounting.” Each correct answer is worth 1 point. Students who score 15 or more points advance to the second round.

The second round will take place from November 14 to 22, 2017. Only students who have passed the first round take part in it. In the second round, participants will be given the opportunity to answer 30 questions in an online test, testing both theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply it to solve practical problems. Each correct answer will earn 1 point. All participants will receive electronic diplomas.

The final results will be announced on November 30, 2017. The ranking of results is formed taking into account the points scored and the time taken to complete the test. If the contenders for prizes have equal points, the solution to the additional task will be evaluated.

Winners and runners-up are determined separately among students from higher educational institutions and from secondary educational institutions.

How are the Olympics going?

1st round – qualifying

Students from higher and secondary specialized educational institutions participate. It is proposed to answer the questions of the online test on the competition page. The test has 36 questions. Each correct answer is worth 1 point. Students who score 15 points or more advance to the second round.

Round 2 - main

Students who have successfully passed the first round participate. You are asked to answer 30 questions on the online test. Each correct answer is worth 1 point.

Winners who scored greatest number points, received a scholarship from the SKB Kontur company in the amount of 16,000 to 40,000 rubles. In addition, separate cash prizes were awarded in additional categories: “Best in Accounting”, “Best in Taxation” and “Software Expert”.

The number of participants in the Olympiad is growing every year, the geography of participation is expanding - this year in qualifying round 19,517 students from 1,120 educational institutions in Russia took part. 9503 participants were tested in the final round.
