What is this new module?
Appeared in GIS Housing and Communal Services new module - “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”. It was developed as part of the priority project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment.” The project was approved by the Presidium of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Strategic Development and Priority Projects.
This national project, it is being implemented throughout Russia. Its goal is to create conditions for improving the quality and comfort of the urban environment. Participants are local authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, management organizations and residents of houses.
To create a comfortable urban environment, each region of the Russian Federation will carry out a set of special events from 2017 to 2020. For this purpose, the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will publish:
- regional regulations on improvement programs,
- design projects for the improvement of parks and places of mass recreation for the population,
- reports on the work performed.

According to the idea of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, the module will perform not only an information function. It is being created for citizens, here they will be able to choose what improvement measures need to be carried out.
Currently, 72 first-stage regions operate in the module. There are subjects of the second and third stages: Kaluga region, Leningrad region, Moscow region, Samara region, Sverdlovsk region, Tyumen region, Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous region, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Sakhalin Region, Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Moscow, St. Petersburg.
