Overview of educational institutions of the FSB of Russia. Universities of the FSB of the Russian Federation and admission to them

Work in the Federal Security Service has been exciting young minds for a long time. But what to do if you don't even roughly know how to enter there, what needs to be trained, and what exams to pass to the FSB?

Do I need to train in advance?

Undoubtedly yes. In addition to personal and intellectual qualities, the selection committee looks at the physical fitness of the future student. It is best to start preparation in the 10th grade. For example, with morning exercises and evening exercises. If you have the opportunity and time, you can go to the athletics section.
There are standards that an applicant must pass:

 • Run a hundred meters in 14.8 seconds;
 • Run 3 kilometers in 13 minutes and 3 seconds;
 • Pull up seven times.

All tests are handed over at a special test site and are carried out according to the system "Pass / fail"

If you are wondering how to enter the FSB after grade 11, then in addition to grades on the Unified State Exam, you will need to be tested at the academy itself.

The goal of becoming a student at the academy is very difficult, but no less honorable. Every year ten of the same guys apply for one place. It is very honorable to work in the Federal Security Service, and this type of activity is well paid by the state. And besides this, you can count on benefits, vouchers to sanatoriums, and various incentives after the end of the activity. For example, a tangible increase in the basic pension.

What is the best to take and what faculties are there

There are two most popular branches of education:

 • Investigative;
 • Counterintelligence.

But unfortunately, these faculties are scattered with places for "Svoi" from which we conclude - it is very difficult to get there. But difficult does not mean impossible, there are no impossible goals, there are internal barriers.

Foreign language faculties / cryptography, computer science. It's easier to get to these two branches of education, but you also need to make enough efforts.

Anyone who is interested in this service needs to know - FSB what exams and with what attempt to perform.

The most difficult thing in these structures is the medical board. Whether your father is even a colonel or a general, it will do nothing. Doctors with special trepidation and severity will examine everyone for violations. Only the best get into the Federal Service.

In addition to checking people, you also need a car conclusion. The hardest test is the polygraph. There, as at the last judgment, the whole truth will be pulled out of you. It is important to remember here that if your parents had a criminal record or addiction to alcohol / drugs, you will not be hired by the FSA. With proper patriotism and aspiration, even a polygraph will be an easy test.

And now let's come to the question - what subjects should the FSB take?

For admission to the Faculty of Foreign Languages:

 • Russian language;
 • Foreign language (both in writing and orally);

On counterintelligence for a profile with foreign languages:

 • Social Studies;
 • Russian;
 • Foreign language (in writing).

For counterintelligence operatives:

 • Russian;
 • Social Studies.

For the faculty of counterintelligence, but with a bias in information technology:

 • Social Studies;
 • Russian;
 • Maths.

For cryptographic:

 • Maths;
 • Physics.

As you can see, exams roughly correlate with professions and you can guess by the logic that the FSB should follow what subjects you need. Only active employees of the federal service can study in absentia, therefore, after grade 11, full-time education is available.
And they take to the AFSB strictly after the completion of the full course of study. If the candidate decides to unlearn first in an institution with a secondary vocational education, and then go to the academy, he will be refused admission.

It is not difficult to enroll in the desired course and specialty if you decide for yourself in advance, and all your life strives for this work. To be devoted to the homeland and any business, because serving in the internal or external defense bodies is a huge responsibility. In addition to all the advantages, heaps of nondisclosure subscriptions are imposed on the employee even while training at the FSB. It is considered bad form if you tell where you study.

And after successfully graduating from the academy, you will be given a job for life, and a military rank. Such institutions train only the best first-class specialists, not only in Russia, but also in the world. Even in civilian life with a crust about the end of the FSB, you will be hired for a highly paid position.

Nowadays it is considered very prestigious to study as an FSB officer in order to have a good salary. How to enter the FSB after grade 9 and is it realistic to pass the exams without any connections, are there any specific requirements for the state of health? Many high school students dream of being trained in an institution like the FSB school. How to enter the chosen faculty after the 9th grade? To begin with, you should think about whether a person needs a profession, whether he will cope with official duties, where he can work if he receives a diploma. It is very important. Graduates of the FSB academy are in great demand, but you need to understand that officer service is sometimes associated with frequent travel, change of residence, work in difficult conditions, in border areas. Not all people agree to endure some inconvenience, especially for the fair sex.

Why is the FSB Academy so attractive? It turns out that not only the children of high-ranking officers can enter this educational institution after the 9th grade. But it will be difficult to do this. The high level of salaries of the structure's employees allows the Academy to be considered a very prestigious university. If a high school student finally decided that he should connect his life with the federal security service, first you need to go through a medical commission. The most stringent requirements are imposed on applicants. A student of an educational institution and a future officer should not have serious chronic diseases. This rule is very strictly enforced. Even with connections in the selection committee, it is simply impossible to enter the academy by dishonest means. As a rule, a medical commission is held in a departmental clinic. When applying to an educational institution, you need to fill out a questionnaire. All information specified in it is verified.

A serious obstacle on the way to entering the academy can be a not very "clean" biography of a close relative or the presence of a criminal record of one of the family members. If the high school student himself was brought to criminal or administrative responsibility, you can forget about studying at the FSB school. If the medical commission is passed successfully and there are no other obstacles to further admission, the applicant is admitted before passing the exams. The list of items, the delivery of which is required, is specified in the selection committee. As a rule, applicants have to take Russian language and social studies. These exams are conducted in writing. The chosen faculty is also of great importance. So, for example, for future counterintelligence officers it is envisaged to surrender not only the Russian language and social studies, but also foreign languages.

For some faculties, where specialists who are trained in information technology are taught, it is necessary to pass exams in the Russian language, social studies and mathematics. Some schools also require the FSB to take a physics exam. Acceptance of documents has been carried out approximately from the middle of summer. Training begins, as in all educational institutions, from September 1. To increase the chances of successful admission, it is necessary to prepare in advance for submitting documents and passing the entrance tests. Already from the first quarter of the 8th grade, you can begin to find out the conditions for admission to the academy, to clarify the list of exams. If possible, you should be like preparatory courses, work out with a tutor. Some academies have special courses to prepare for admission.

Experts advise to weigh your chances before applying. For some areas of study, the competition for admission is not too big. Sometimes it makes sense to apply for a less prestigious faculty. Moreover, the possibility of transferring to another specialty still exists. Some high school students are interested in whether it is even worth entering the FSB academy after grade 9. Maybe it's better to try your luck after graduating from high school? But after grade 11, as practice shows, it can be even more difficult to enroll. It is also necessary to warn applicants that in some cases they need to pass a lie detector or polygraph. This procedure will be repeated throughout the entire training period at regular intervals. FSB officers also regularly undergo polygraph tests in order to promptly identify the facts of corruption.

"After the 9th grade, I began to think about entering. A friend of an eleventh grader told me that he was entering the FSB Academy. Our language lyceum is one of the strongest in Moscow, we often receive orders from the faculty of foreign languages of this university, so I don’t was very surprised. "

Mikhail, applicant of the FSB Academy

I must admit that my friend was in excellent physical shape - he ran the 100-meter distance best, pulled up the most, was engaged in powerlifting. I remember how he played with muscles in the schoolyard during physical education - all the guys looked enviously at him, pretending not to notice, and the most beautiful girls giggled merrily, crowding around him in a bunch. But the guy didn't react to them. He was always calm and calm. “This is how a real FSB worker should be,” I thought, and decided to prepare to also enroll in foreign languages.

First, I took up physical training: for a year and a half I went to the rocking chair, went in for jogging, skiing. Secondly, I tried to get closer to him so that he could tell me more about the Academy, but that was not the case. He didn't say anything new. He just said once: “In the ASFB it is best to choose a wife. This one will keep her mouth shut and go with you to the ends of the earth. " The desire to look at such girls became an additional incentive for me to enter. The main motive was simple: the fate of a FSB officer is the choice of real men capable of much for the sake of their country. This means my destiny.

The epic of admission began in the eleventh grade. Now, even with his authoritative silence, my acquaintance could not help me - he entered, I lost sight of him on social networks. They say that the students of the Academy are generally forbidden to "sit" in them. I went once to the Academy, signed up for courses. The procedure was incredibly complicated. Two weeks later, an FSB officer contacted me, held a so-called conversation - an acquaintance. The very first question: "Do you have any relatives serving in the FSB or convicted." Neither the first nor the second appeared. I acted without cronyism, lived in an ordinary honest family. After that, I received confirmation that I was enrolled in courses at the Academy.

Classes began. My level of German was at a fairly high level, so there were no problems. In the Russian language and social studies - they were. The level of the teachers was so high that I spent several days preparing for each lesson. The USE received little attention here. We were strictly forbidden to talk about how they taught and what they asked. I understood the main thing - you need to pass a medical examination, pass internal exams in the necessary subjects and keep quiet.

But first it was necessary to get a coupon for a medical examination. Parents with applicants stand for hours to receive the coveted voucher for a medical examination at their place of residence. Everything is very strict with the medical board - the slightest deviation and you are out of the game. Everybody is really watching here - in my presence they turned up a guy whose visual acuity was 1.2% lower than the required level. Guys with unkempt hair that cover their ears are immediately shown the door. However, I passed this stage successfully.

The next test is a psychological test. For 4 hours, applicants sit in a special room and answer seemingly idiotic questions. For example: "How do you feel about death?", "What do you do at night when you don't feel like sleeping?" We were asked to solve some strange problems. You are shown a picture of an apple tree. You can easily count how many apples there are. And next to the tree is a girl with a basket. They ask the question: "How many apples does Masha have?" You need to choose from several intricate options. At the last stage, my head started spinning: the officer showed me 50 figures for 10 seconds, then mixed them and asked me to put them in the original order. The third test is a polygraph. I already understood that the FSB's strong point is simple questions with difficult connotations, so I was mentally prepared. But when I found myself alone in a dark room with a serious man in uniform, I was involuntarily taken aback. The questions confused me, my heart sank into my heels. Then they told me that the admission was over for me.

It was a shame that I did not get to the physical education and specialized subjects - I prepared a lot. But, apparently, I am not so restrained and calm as to become a real FSB officer.

“Based on my experience, I can say: people enter the FSB either according to family tradition or from crystal-clear romance. By the way, later such“ romantics ”of our profession create family traditions. places are signed among “their own.” There is a small opportunity to enter the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the ICSI *. I repeat: small. If the applicant is afraid of any difficulties, then you should not go into the authorities. Everything is clear here - you have decided, then you are acting I will give the figures: out of 150 applicants, 20 people reach internal exams. "

Nikolay, graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the FSB Academy, former FSB officer

Mikhail possesses very necessary qualities for our profession - he managed to find the right people, he has the willpower to train physically, he meets medical parameters. In general, the medical board is not an easy test. Everyone here is on an equal footing, despite the fact that someone has a grandfather, a general. By the way, during the entire training, health workers check your health every six months. When I was studying at the Academy, a guy died on our daily run - his heart stopped and could not bear the stress. It turned out that he was a relative of some prominent official in the authorities. There was a huge scandal; from that moment on, the selection criteria became even more stringent.

I hope that if Misha passed the polygraph successfully, he would pass the general physical training exam *. I think he had no illusions about physical training. The standards in the AFSB are not for weaklings - for the test, you need to pull up 11 times without panting, run a hundred meters in a maximum of 13, 30 seconds, and overcome three kilometers in 12 minutes. There is only one advice here: if your hand reaches for a beer or a joystick in the evening, go run to the park or pull iron in a rocking chair. But it did not come to this stage. Misha was cut off on a polygraph. The situation is quite understandable, because personnel officers have already begun to form lists of potential freshmen. Maybe the documents submitted by Mikhail did not include the necessary recommendations from the FSB officers. Apparently, this was one of his main mistakes. Or maybe the guy really was an excellent candidate for admission to the FSB, but did not know how to answer questions correctly. On the polygraph, you are like a transparent sheet, your inner convictions become visible to the personnel officer as in purgatory. Therefore, it is important to be a patriot, to value the rank of an officer, to express it honestly and truthfully, without pathos. No kidding, this is important.

In addition, Misha was going to take the German language, he graduated from a language gymnasium. German, of course, students learn a little less often than English. But still, those who speak more rare languages, such as French, Spanish, Chinese or Hindi, have chances to do it without pull.

A very correct step is to enroll in courses at the Academy. This is a good preparatory school, but not always sufficient. For example, knowing German at a native speaker level, I worked hard with a tutor in foreign, Russian and social studies for two years. I wanted to do it for sure, threw all my strength into it. As a result, he entered the top twenty enrolled.

From the very first year, my illusions about education began to dissipate there. The freshman immediately feels that he is in the system. You know that your ten years are already scheduled. The first five of them, you strain all your strength, you learn. The second five you give your homeland a debt for a free and one of the best education in the world. It is not simple. You are either weak or you can handle it.

I am really proud to have the chance to study here. The level of language, mathematical, physical and legal training is unlikely to be compared even with MGIMO and Moscow State University. Legendary personalities are taught at the Academy, which I, unfortunately, cannot tell. Some of them were awarded the Order of the Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of Russia. Many subjects are taught in special classrooms, from which nothing can be taken out - no notes, no pens. Everything that is taught there is classified as secret. The Academy has a very strong legal background. True, you need to be ready for it - in lectures, students usually write 30-40 pages.

Mikhail's friend was right - the girls at our faculty are special students. Intelligent, discreet, with excellent physical fitness. Many find their soulmates here. For example, I got married as soon as I received my diploma. It is known that the scholarship at the Academy is huge compared to civilian universities - about 15 thousand rubles a month. But please don't compare us to a citizen. At the Academy, from 7 am to evening you are in the service, hard work. This is intense emotional pressure on a daily basis. In my opinion, our scholarship is even small.

Important: it is undesirable to show the status of an ASFB student on social networks. And to spread about it to friends - too. After receiving your diploma, you spend 5 years in the service of the Fatherland. From Moscow they are often sent to serve in Rostov, Volgograd. There is also a service in hot spots. If we get lucky. It turns out that you can spend 10 years side by side with your fellow students. It happened to me too. During this time, I found loyal colleagues, loyal friends.

In civilian life, they do not quite understand the concept of "devoted heart". With my friends, I have experienced misfortune, poverty, attended all their weddings. They helped me out many times. If any of them have difficulties, I am ready to fly to their duty station the next day. Now the fate of my friends has developed differently. Some continue to serve, some have moved to Alpha, some, like me, have taken up legal civil service. There were no problems with employment - they were hired with an ASFB diploma even without an interview for a good position. Why didn't I continue my service? Disappointed with the system. Understand that 90% of the bodies are incredibly worthy, patriotic, gifted people. They are the color of the country. But there are 10% of corrupt officials. Probably so everywhere, but I could not bear it.

The Federal Security Service of Russia is actively working on training specialists for its ranks. Currently, 16 higher educational institutions are subordinate to it. Higher educational institutions of the FSB of Russia can be divided into 3 large groups. The first group includes 4 FSB institutes located in the cities of Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk. In these educational institutions, specialists are trained directly in the structure of the FSB. In addition, they can enter training at the FSB Academy located in Moscow.

The second group includes universities leading the training of specialists for the border service. These educational institutions came under the jurisdiction of the FSB simultaneously with the transition of the border service itself. Currently, there are 8 such institutes and 1 more institute of the coast guard.
