Police school after 9. Is it difficult to enter the police school (college of the Ministry of Internal Affairs)

Police school for girls after grade 9 Is a good enough choice. Despite the fact that the work in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is very nervous and involves some restrictions, the employees receive a good salary and a social package. What exactly will be required from a girl who wants to go to work in the authorities in the future?

How to enter the police school for a girl?

The Constitution of the Russian Federation guarantees the equality of men and women, and this norm is fully observed in law enforcement agencies. Of course, there are units where there are practically no women (riot police, SOBR and other units with exceptional requirements for physical training), however, they are quite willingly taken for inquiry and criminal investigation. Some units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are staffed mainly by women (for example, the inspection for minors).

Accordingly, many girls, while still at school, begin to think about how to enter the future to work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and quite often turn their attention to the educational institutions of this department. Traditionally, many people still call such educational institutions precisely police schools, although the vast majority of such institutions are not schools at all, but academies, institutes, universities and colleges (with the exception of those that train dog handlers for the Ministry of Internal Affairs - they still have the status schools).

In order to get a job in the police, you can get 2 types of education:

  1. Secondary specialized - in colleges that have a corresponding department (Suvorov schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are also available for young men, where girls are not taken).
  2. Higher education - in one of the universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Future employees of inquiry and investigation can also get a legal education at a civil university.

In order to enroll, a girl with incomplete secondary education (9 grades of a regular school) will need to take the following steps:

  1. Apply to the head of the educational institution. In the application, in addition to the signature of the candidate herself, the signatures of the parents will be required, confirming their consent that the daughter will go to study as a police officer. The application is submitted no later than June 1 of the current year.
  2. Pass a medical examination.
  3. Pass a test in physical fitness.
  4. Pass an interview in the humanities subjects of the school curriculum.
  5. Get tested by a psychologist.
  6. Pass a background check of both the candidate herself and her close relatives (for the absence of a criminal record, administrative offenses, etc.).

Medical Commission

It takes place directly at the police school itself, usually in June-July. Candidates are screened for diseases that would hinder their future police service. The commission is paid.

Don't know your rights?

The medical board presents the results of blood tests (general, for HIV, Wasserman's reaction) and urine, stress ECG, vaccination certificate, as well as a medical card for the last 5 years.

In addition, there is a list of diseases with which it is better not to come to the medical examination. These include, in particular:

  • severe myopia;
  • tuberculosis;
  • cardiovascular diseases, starting with moderate severity;
  • hepatitis;
  • consequences of serious injury;
  • mental disorders;
  • drug or alcohol addiction.

However, even for healthy girls, selection is quite difficult.

Physical training

Oddly enough, the physical training requirements for the cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are higher than for the existing employees. So, to enter the police school, you will have to pass:

  • running 100 meters;
  • running 1000 m;
  • strength exercises (push-ups, pull-ups).

Specific standards often change, so they need to be clarified immediately before admission. Although the requirements for girls are lower than for boys, candidates for training are often eliminated at this stage.

Check by the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Every person who wants to enroll in training and later go to serve in the police is carefully checked by the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. By the way, this is why you can only enter the school of the region in which you live.

For verification, the head of the educational institution sends a request to the police at the place of residence of a potential applicant. During the check, it is clarified whether she is registered for a criminal record, whether she was brought to administrative responsibility, information on close relatives (parents, brothers, sisters, etc.) is raised. The verification is carried out according to the same rules as for candidates for the positions of police officers, therefore personnel services are engaged in the search for information.

Based on the results of the audit, the personnel department of the corresponding division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs makes one of two decisions:

  • recommend a girl for enrollment in a police school;
  • do not recommend.

The final question is decided by the head of the school himself. In the presence of exceptional circumstances, he can enroll even the girl who has criminal relatives, although this happens extremely rarely.

What does almost any boy want to become? Of course, an astronaut or a policeman. These professions seem to be the most attractive to children. A childhood dream is either forgotten or becomes a goal in life, if a person from an early age has not changed his decision about the profession.

To become the owner of the coveted uniform, you must enter the Higher Police School. Such schools exist in various regions of the country. After graduating from the police school, you can apply practical and theoretical knowledge already in the position of an operative worker or receive further education, but already at a university. Many former police schools, which were transformed into academies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are equated with the category of higher educational institutions. Such already full-fledged institutes and universities are located in Omsk, Vologda, Novosibirsk, and Moscow.

Selection criteria

Selection for these educational institutions is based on a competition. In most cases, young men can, of course, enter, while it is desirable that they submit documents after completing 9 classes of a general education institution. But there is no prohibition on training police and girls at school (except for certain specific institutions). At the moment, a female police officer is no longer a rarity, but we do not have a separate educational institution for girls. For this reason, they have to learn together with young people. The only advantage is a lower level of standards for entrance examinations, but in general it is more difficult for girls to do it, because there are much fewer places initially allocated for them.

The training is carried out at the expense of budget funds, that is, it is free for Russians. Students receive a stipend in the established amount for the entire period of study - 2-3 years.

Upon admission, both girls and boys will have to go through a rigorous selection process. More attention is paid to the following factors:

  • health status;
  • level of physical fitness;
  • academic performance of the applicant;
  • age limit - the age of the applicant cannot exceed 25 years.

What is required for admission

You still made the final decision that you want to enter the police school and continue serving in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the future. What do we have to do?

After completing nine grades, you are applying to be admitted to Police High School. For admission, you must go through several stages:

  • application submission. By June 1, an application must be sent to the school addressed to the principal. It is mandatory for this document to sign the parents about their consent to admission. You can't do without it;
  • checking the "past". As soon as the police school has accepted the applicant's application, it forwards it to the personnel service, which, following the relevant conditions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, opens a personal file for each applicant. Here, the applicant and his relatives are required to have no criminal record and criminal or administrative liability. You may not get lucky here. After verification, the candidate either receives a recommendation for admission or a refusal;
  • medical examination. It is carried out on a paid basis. While the personnel service checks for a “bad past”, applicants do not sit idly by: in order to enter the police school, the medical commission must present some tests (general urine and blood tests, HIV test results, Wasserman test), ECG, fluorography, vaccination certificate and extracts from the medical outpatient card for the last 5 years. On the basis of the submitted documents, the medical board determines the suitability or unsuitability of the applicant for service;
  • psychological testing. To be admitted to the entrance tests and enter the police school, you must pass a special test that will determine the presence or absence of drug, alcohol or other toxic addiction. After this test, the applicant's intelligence level is checked. The police school itself has the right to determine the test: an interview, psychological testing or exam;
  • level of intellectual development. With positive results of psychological testing, potential students show the level of knowledge gained during their studies in a general education institution. The exam is usually held in the humanities: Russian language and Russian history. The form of conducting in the Russian language is a dictation or an essay, for example, according to a read passage of a text or on a given topic, in history - an oral answer;
  • level of physical fitness. This is the last and most important stage that will have to go through to enter the police school. If you successfully pass a set of physical exercises in different sports, you are guaranteed to be enrolled in the ranks of students. Of course, the level of training of boys and girls is different, therefore the standards for both are different. But in any case, it is necessary to pass long and short distance running, perform strength exercises: for boys - pull-ups, for girls - another special complex. As a result, after passing the test, you receive an assessment of "excellent", "good", "satisfactory" or "unsatisfactory" for each sport.

Young men, when passing a short distance run, receive the following marks:

  • 13.6 s - excellent;
  • 14.2 s - good;
  • 14.6 s - satisfactory.

For girls, the requirements are softer:

  • 16.5 s - excellent;
  • 17.1 s - good;
  • 17.5 s - satisfactory.

For long distance, the evaluation criteria are different. Boys, when running 2 km, must meet the following amount of time:

  • 7.50 minutes - well;
  • 8.10 minutes - well;
  • 9.00 minutes - satisfactory.

For girls, the long distance is shorter and is 1 km:

  • 4.25 minutes - well;
  • 4.45 minutes - well;
  • 5.00 minutes - satisfactory.

In chin-ups for young men, the number of times is taken into account:

  • 12 - excellent;
  • 10 - good;
  • 6 - satisfactory.

Other strength exercises are provided for girls. If this is an exercise for the press, then the number of times is also taken into account, but the evaluation criteria are different:

  • 30 - excellent;
  • 26 - good;
  • 24 - satisfactory.

There are not so many police colleges (a structural unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) in the country. The work of law enforcement officers requires complete dedication, and entering a specialized secondary educational institution requires firm confidence in the readiness to carry out difficult service for the good of the country.

Overview of schools

There are only two specialties in police colleges:

  • law enforcement activities;
  • law and organization of social security.

You can get them both on the basis of 9 grades, and at the end of school after the 11th. In parallel with specific subjects related to the profession, traditional disciplines are also taught in colleges. Particular attention is paid to physical training and the study of jurisprudence.

After graduating from a police educational institution, young specialists receive a law degree and can work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB and other structures associated with the police, including security agencies.

Requirements for applicants

The candidate submits to the admissions office a standard application, documents defined by the current legislation (if he enters by direct recruitment, and if through a completing body, then a personal file with the entire set of documents is sent to the college by the ATS personnel department), undergoes psychological testing, a medical examination at the college and a level check physical fitness.

Sports standards for boys and girls are different, but they certainly include running 100 and 1000 meters, pulling up on the bar or other strength exercise (most often complex). So, if you are going to a police college, you should watch your physical condition.

The age limit for daytime admission is 25.

The selection of candidates for training and the execution of their educational affairs are carried out by the completing bodies (personnel departments of the police units, the National Guard troops) or colleges independently within the framework of direct recruitment.

Applicants applying for direct recruitment submit all documents directly to the college (or a university that conducts training in SVE programs), without contacting the territorial police department to complete the educational case. At the same time, candidates conclude a contract on the passage of service for at least 5 years in any internal affairs body for the distribution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs after graduation.

The educational business, which is completed by the territorial OVD for applicants for correspondence courses, includes:

  • the applicant's report to the head of the completing body on the direction to study;
  • copy of education document;
  • personal record sheet;
  • characteristics from the duty station;
  • four photographs measuring 3 x 4 cm (without a headdress);
  • copies of documents confirming the rights to benefits, if any;
  • documents confirming individual achievements.

Admission to training is carried out without entrance tests based on the results of the mastering by applicants of the program of secondary general (based on 11 grades) or basic general (after 9 grades) education, indicated in the documents on education submitted by them, that is, according to the certificate competition.
