At the pre-appointed time, the child with his parents comes to the mental health center, where a nurse meets them and accompanies them to all rooms where specialists (pediatrician, neurologist, psychiatrist, speech therapist, psychologist) are received, introduces parents to the center's work schedule and answers all those of interest. their questions.

For each patient, an individual rehabilitation route is developed, including speech therapy, developmental, musical classes, individual therapeutic gymnastics, as well as counseling the family on all issues of interest to the medical, psychological, pedagogical and social rehabilitation of the child.

If there is a need for a more complete examination of the child in identifying actual neurological symptoms or suspicion of an autistic disorder, the neurological department of the CSTO No. 1 is offered to parents with a child, the referral to which is filled out here, in the center. After the diagnostic measures taken, the child again continues to study with the specialists of the center. If necessary, its individual route is corrected.

The center's specialists actively use the latest methods of early diagnosis and treatment of various disorders of speech and mental development children, autism spectrum disorders (M-CHAT-questionnaire, the ADOS method - the "gold" standard for diagnosing autism around the world, elements of the PECS and ABA-therapy methods, etc.) In their work, speech therapists use Morozova's methods for children with autistic disorders , Nikolskaya's technique, elements of articulation massage, massage of fingers for the development of fine motor skills, elements of health-saving technologies in speech therapy (relaxation for the eyes, writing with two hands, etc.), media technologies (computer programs, working with a tablet, etc.). The defectologist of the center in his work uses the methods of Dedyukhina and Boryakova, elements of massage according to Novikova, Shevchenko's method for children with mental retardation, Baryaeva's program for children with mental retardation, PECS cards for children with autism.

At the service of young patients a variety of modern methodological and play material, a kinesthetic sandbox, a "dry" pool, a physiotherapy room, a pool, a massage chair. As prescribed by doctors, the child can receive a course of physiotherapy (massage, electrophoresis, amplipulse, oxygen cocktail, salt cave)

On average, a child attends classes at the center for 4-8 weeks and has the opportunity to re-enroll on the recommendation of specialists and at the request of the parents.

Upon discharge from the CMH, the child is again consulted by a multi-professional team of specialists, the results achieved during the rehabilitation are noted and, possibly, the child's difficulties still remain. Parents receive recommendations for further rehabilitation of their child, for example, supervision by specialists (neurologist, psychiatrist, audiologist, etc.), social adaptation(registration in a lekothek, kindergarten, etc.), a visit to the "Sails of Hope". If necessary, the child signs up for a second course.

For children with newly diagnosed autism spectrum disorders, it is recommended to consult at the DDO VKPND and address the necessary social issues in the ASD office.

During the period of their activity in the mental health center they received individual program rehabilitation of 304 children, including 38 children with autism spectrum disorders. 2549 consultations of parents by psychologists and doctors were carried out. 66 M-CHAT questionnaires were conducted (for children under 30 months of age), diagnostics using the ADOS method was carried out for 3 children (in all cases, disorders characteristic of the autism spectrum were confirmed). For patients and their parents, 2 New Year's parties and a holiday were held, dedicated to the Day protection of children with the presentation of gifts and souvenirs to each child.

I'll start with the positive aspects: - the school is located next to the park, away from the roads, there is a lot of greenery around (it is not convenient to get there without a car); - classes of about 15 people, which allows teachers to pay enough attention to each student and at the same time, children have someone to play with and be friends with; - the level of education is quite high, we were tested in other schools and got excellent marks everywhere; - a lot of time is spent English language, Cambridge exams are taken 2 times a year. Children get used to taking exams. - no need to carry textbooks with you, they are stored in the classroom. There are lockers for your belongings. - there is a children's pool, but it is shallow and from the 2nd grade children do not want to go to it. And in winter, it has more problems than benefits. - admission system to the school; - homework mostly done at school, only on weekends they give assignments; - if there is a desire to send the child to the sports section, the school can arrange delivery to classes; there are several sports facilities near the school; - you can go on vacation during schoolwork, and then pass the missed tests; - once a year, art shooting takes place and you can buy a photo for 500 rubles apiece. There are enough complaints about the school: - there is a large turnover of teachers, rarely anyone is late for the second year. There are many teachers from the regions and the Moscow region, they are given a room to live on the school grounds. It's hard to imagine that a teacher is completely focused on learning if he wants to change jobs. Although a replacement is always found and in general the teachers are good. - there is no gym for physical education. Physical education is walking around the grounds and doing exercises under guidance class teacher... Because of a large number sedentary classes in the day, problems with the spine begin, no one at school monitors the correct posture at the desk. - a small area inside the school. It is forbidden for grades 3 and 4 during recess to go to the only hall where grades 1 and 2 play. They can only stand in a narrow corridor about a meter wide or stay in classrooms. - ventilation was not provided during construction. Airing is possible only through open windows. Therefore, the classrooms are very stuffy, especially in winter, when you cannot open the windows. - there are no organized leisure activities after dinner. Children either watch cartoons or play electronic games. And on walks, children are left to themselves, they only make sure that they do not get crippled. Educators do not organize joint games. - the area for walking schoolchildren is not equipped. It is rented by the school and therefore no money is invested there. Children play football in the garden, they have to wash their clothes every day. - additional sections on the school grounds - hack-work. For example, aikido classes are half an hour. But it starts at 14:00, and lunch ends at 14:05 and you still need to change. The coach is weak, zero sense. - if an additional lesson was not held, then no one will say about it. You yourself need to follow and knock out money back or demand a lesson. - for individual lessons, payment per month, although it can be from 3 to 5 lessons per month, if once a week. If the child is sick and missed the lesson, then the money will not be returned. - Fine art lessons are very weak. To the beginning school year gave a big list of what to buy for drawing. At the end of the year, they discovered that watercolors, gouache, pastels were not even opened, all brushes were not used. - computer science lessons from grade 1 are weak. We have been drawing figures in Paint for 2 years. A child cannot show anything what he learned there. - there is a strange tendency to charge different tuition fees. Those who move to the next class pay more than beginners. The director explains this by the fact that it is for our own good, since only gifted children are “lured away” to school, after whom our children will have to reach out. In fact, they take any children and from experience they learn weaker. - festive events similar and uninteresting. From the 2nd grade, children are already bored. But they invite 2 photographers each, who stand in front of everyone and with their backs interfere with looking and photographing themselves. Then the photos are sold for 500 rubles. a piece. - there are spoiled children who can behave in a rude manner in the classroom, interfere with classes or offend other children. No serious sanctions are applied to them, and even their parents are not informed. - there is no attention to gifted students declared on the school's website. Everyone learns the same material, at best there is an additional level in the control increased complexity... Strong students are not interested in learning and they become lazy. - despite the fact that the food is prepared at school, it is not very good. Many children complain that they don't like it. There was a case when the head teacher said that no one would leave the dining room until they had eaten everything. After this humiliation, the child flatly refused to go to school. In general, when compared with other schools, the Academic Gymnasium is an acceptable option. But far from perfect.
